BD9 cover: Lolita Variation

second variation of the "Jaid the Maid" cover entry

this is actually the first submission i came up with. the colors were based on the contest rules (but then i later found out that they were only suggestions). nevertheless, I enjoy the dramatic shading and color scheme of this one.

the colors did not fit the tagline line i wanted to use. i attempted to create the hyper combo background so akin to the Marvel vs Capcom (and now Tatsunoko vs Capcom) series, but with these colors it just looks like shes in a forest .

i also didnt want to use the conventional Maid costume colors, so i ended up with a pseudo Lolita scheme, which i still like.

well...considering how much i like this one, maybe ill submit this to the contest yea? maybe? haha
